Naresh Minocha’s CV
Summary
I am a tireless knowledge worker. My desire for knowledge is unlimited. Acquisition of knowledge, its aggregation and analysis in itself gives me intrinsic satisfaction.
Journalism is my passion - It has been my first and last profession for the last 36 years. I write on economy, business, technology and governance and polity. I am known for my in-depth write-ups on energy especially oil and gas and power, chemicals including petrochemicals and fertilizers, telecommunications, agriculture and policy and regulatory issues.
I have worked for both Indian and foreign media entities. I intend to emerge as an author - an objective that has been delayed for several years due to unavoidable factors. I, however, firmly believe it is never too late to make a new beginning. I pray and wish I would one day die with my boots on.
The literary works that inspired me and shaped my life from the university days onwards include: An essay perhaps titled ‘Blessed are those Born Poor’ by Prof. William James; another essay titled ‘A Message to Garcia’ by Elbert Hubbard; a Book captioned ‘The Technique of Getting Things Done’ by Donald Laird and Eleanor Laird; and Swami Vivekananda and his works.
